Applying for Grants

  1. Submit a Letter of Intent, maximum 2 pages, that outlines the following:
    1. Specific research question(s) that will be addressed
    2. Study’s relevance to the goals/mission of the Baumann Institute
    3. Proposed Methods and timeline
    4. Estimated Budget
    5. Email letters of intent to: info@baumanninstitute.org
  2. Following review of the letter of intent, if it is deemed that the proposed research is relevant to the mission of the Institute and the methods, timeline and budget appear reasonable, applicants will be invited to submit full proposals.
  3. Full proposals should be no more than 10 (single-spaced) pages in length (excluding references) and include a detailed summary of all sections outlined in the letter of intent including budget and timeline.
  4. Depending on the nature of the proposed research, funding amounts will be in the range of $10,000–$50,000 per year for up to 3 years.  The Baumann Institute will not provide funds for any indirect costs associated with the recipient institutions.
